RESULTS

As mentioned, the Ÿ Automated Trading Vault has been a progress of +11 months, with specific testing on-going for 3 months!

During this period many upgrades were made to improve entry precision, maximising profits, minimising losses and to take into consideration all possible market moves.

With the final engine upgrade, over a 100 day period the engine saw a profit from of 140%as seen in Figure 1.

During live testing on a Hyperliquid vault which takes into consideration fees, slippage, funding rates saw a profit from 22% in just 45 days as seen in Figure 2.

Here is a simple step by step guide on using the Ypsilon Vault:

Once deposited onto Hyperliquid, deposit directly into the YAI - Ypsilon Vault!
That is everything, there is nothing more you need to do except track performance, you can withdraw after the 1 day lockdown or deposit again anytime!

Yes, through the 1.5 months of live testing it saw a profit of 25%, whilst the backtesting results for the finalised engine upgrade of the previous 100 days saw a result of 140% in gains made! Do I need to hold $YAI to access?

No, the automated trading vault is available for anyone to deposit and be apart of. Hyperliquid does not offer a token gated feature and as explained in FAQ's below, the more deposit amounts means higher profits to be used for buybacks of $YAI and development!

What do I do once I’ve deposited?

Once you've followed the complete guide to depositing into the Ypsilon Vault HOW TO USE there is nothing else you need to do except for track performance or you can withdraw / deposit as you want.

Can I use this Automated Trading Strategy in my own Trading?

No, the Automated Trading Strategy is available only through the Hyperliquid Vault. This is because the strategy has been made specifically for the on-going market dynamics such as withdraws, deposits and the profit share feature! However, being able to create your own trading strategy using the oracle data may be possible in the future.

Do the profits compound?

Yes, you do not need to do anything with this automated strategy. All profits made will automatically accumulate in your balance, you can monitor performance and positions if you wish to withdraw each time profits are made.

The strategy uses leverage, is this safe?

The automated trading strategy uses leverage, with max leverage set to 5x. The strategy has been tested to ensure entries, take profits and trade durations are appropriate and minimise loss's and maximise take profits. However, as with all trading there is inherit risk using leverage and please only deposit what you are willing to lose.

Why is there not much performance data, you said it was tested?

Depending on the time of looking at the vaults performance on Hyperliquid you may see a lot of historical performance or not much (at release) this is because testing was done on a different vault, whilst the official vault has been set up properly for the time of release! What is the value to $YAI holders?

Anyone can deposit into the vault and take part trading with the automated trading strategy. 50% of the 10% of profit made from this vault will be used to buyback $YAI token. The tokens that are bought back will then be distributed to $YAI holders, with finalised details to be announced soon.

How will buybacks be conducted?

Token buybacks occur based on milestones instead of fixed time periods because it depends on the profit generated. The initial milestone is set to: $1000 Heres how it works: Example 10 participants in the vault + vault leader

Let’s say you deposit 100 $USDC into a vault, whose total deposits are 900 $USDC. The vault total is now 1,000 $USDC, and you represent 10% of the vault. Over time, the vault grows to be 2,000 $USDC, while no one else has deposited or withdrawn from the vault. You withdraw 200 $USDC (10%) less 10 $USDC (10% profit share to the leader)

50% of which goes to buyback, meaning $5 $USDC. So profit accumulates till that milestone is reached. Once this milestone is reached and there's no open positions, profit will be withdrawn for buybacks which will happen randomly after the withdraw to avoid frontrunning. The remaining 50% and the profit made by the capital of Ÿ will be used to development. NOTE: The 50% is subject to change once community governance voting is available!

Is there a maximum amount of people who can deposit?

No, there is no maximum on amount deposited or amount of depositors.

How does it deal with macro economic events?

These kind of macro economic events are translated into orderflow, orderbook values, tweets and more about their impact it might have on $BTC and other altcoins tracked by Ÿ. The oracle keeps track of all models as shown in Framework. So once a macro economic event happens the oracle model factors them in beyond historical observation but in real time.

What assets does the Ÿ Oracle trade? Will it trade more in the future.

Currently the oracle trades all assets available on the Ÿ Dashboard which include, $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $BNB, $WIF, $DOGE, $LINK, $XRP, $DOT, $ADA, with more assets to come from the top 100 cryptocurrency assets!

With the V5 upgrade, which strategy does the vault use to trade?

With the V5 Upgrade, two new strategies have been created (momentum & omni). The vault trades using the momentum strategy which looks at the strength and direction of the prediction return.
